Christy Coffey and Ken Dills met in November of 2011 when a mutual acquaintance was attempting to start a new band in Orange County, California.  From those initial jam sessions, the Shenanigans Band, a classic rock cover band, was born, with Christy providing lead vocals and Ken playing guitar and singing harmony.  Although the supporting players have come and gone, Christy and Ken remain constant and continue to this day playing throughout southern California serving up a wide variety of music; classic rock, country, rockabilly, jazz, soul, disco, etc.  You name it, they’ll play it.

 

Neither of them remember exactly when, but around 2015-2016 (No, you goof, it was earlier.  No, you’re drunk, it was later.)  they came up with the idea to try their hand at co-writing some songs.  The first few attempts produced some winners and some clunkers, but a partnership was in the works.  They continue to hone their craft and have produced an eclectic group of songs that embrace a wide variety of styles.
